Waiting on a decision

Hi all! I’m sorry that we haven’t been able to share more good news over the last couple of weeks. We continue to wait upon a written decision from the federal district judge considering Lore’s emergency appeal for release pending trial. We all look forward optimistically towards that ruling, in no small part because of the volume and effectiveness of your written support for Lore. Expect to see an update and explanation of the judge’s decision here as soon as we have it.

In the meantime, you can always help Lore by donating to her support fund and, best of all, by sharing your love and support directly with her in detention. Your letters, postcards, and books have made an immense difference during these painfully slow days of waiting.

I also want to thank Celia Márquez for contributing the beautiful portraits of Lore that you see on this site. I don’t know about you, but they sure help me to feel her presence through each of the long in-between hours ❤️
