We are the family, friends, and loving community of Lore Elisabeth (Lore-Elisabeth Blumenthal), a community care worker in Philadelphia.

Lore has dedicated her life to serving people and making them feel better.
She provides essential, life-sustaining services to the most vulnerable Philadelphians as a care worker. She supports community members who live with HIV and chronic illnesses to access medical and critical care, often at her own expense. She provides regular outcalls to elders and clients who cannot leave their homes as a professional massage therapist. She is the irreplaceable rock of support to her family.

We all love and depend upon her incredibly generous spirit every day.
You may be among the countless Philadelphians (and beyond!) whose lives have been improved or even saved by this selfless volunteer.

Lore has been incarcerated without trial or bond for nearly two years.
A notorious Trump lackey targeted Lore in June 2020 to be a scapegoat for the demonstrations that empowered Philadelphians against constant police brutality. The federal government captured and tortured Lore to scare Philadelphians into complicity with state violence. They threaten to keep her in dungeon-like conditions for the rest of her life without the right to defend herself.

Lore has been tortured with weeks-long solitary confinement and denied treatment for COVID-19. She and her family are the regular targets of death and violence threats from allies of the Philadelphia Police Department and the followers of right-wing influencers. Still, Lore has become a vital source for health information and care to the women hidden in the Bureau of Prisons’ Federal Detention Center in Philadelphia.

We are all united in our ongoing support for Lore and to an end to police brutality.
We look forward to welcoming her home to the family, friends, and community who love and depend upon her so much.
